Chapter: 5
Tyson's POV (Surprise):
As soon as we reach our home, I drag Nate to my room and start questioning him. "Alright, so spill everything right away." He tried to look anywhere around the room except in my eyes, something he does when he wants to hide something from me. "I don't know what you are talking about?"
"You know very well that you can't lie to me Nate, so cut the crap and start talking." He sighed defeated and started to tell me everything.
"When Vic said that Caleb and I had to go together, I was very nervous because I did not want to do anything stupid in front of him and make a fool out of myself but every fear of mine went out of the window when he smiled at me." He smiled dreamily and sighed before continuing. "Since it was lunch time, we decided to eat something so ordered some ice cream and pastries and coincidentally our favorite flavor was same. Unfortunately or in this case, for me, fortunately, the ice cream we wanted was nearly finished with only one serving left, so we shared it. We also talked for some while eating and I was so engrossed in hearing him talk that I did not even notice a group of girls walk in the shop. They were looking towards us while whispering and giggling among themselves. When I noticed them, I was tensed for a while thinking that they would divert Caleb's attention from me but when I saw him paying no heed to them, rather intently listening to me, I felt so happy. You had to see his grumpy face when I said I was going to pay for everything. He denied at first but agreed after seeing that I was not going to let him pay anyway. At last I mustered up some courage and told him that I had a very good time and we should hang out together again." After listening to him, I was pretty sure that this mission is going to be a success very soon. Just as he finished talking, my phone started ringing. I quickly picked it up as I knew it was none other than Coco. I wanted to talk to her so badly but could not do so with Nate in the room due to which I told her that we would discuss about this next day. Great, now I cannot wait for tomorrow to come.

I have been waiting for Coco here in library for half an hour now although the time fixed for our meeting is still fifteen minutes away. I was so eager to meet her this morning that I arrived forty five minutes early. She was so impatient to hear Nate's side of the story about yesterday that she called me right after talking to Caleb. I won't lie though; I also want to hear Caleb's side. I really want them to be together. I have seen the love in Nate's eyes for him ever since he saw him for the first time in seventh grade. It was the same day and the same time I saw Coco for the first time. Well that's the story for another day. As I was thinking about all this, I see Coco entering the library, looking gorgeous as ever. She is like the breath of fresh air in my life. Everything seems to be perfect whenever she is around. She search for me around and smile once our eyes meet. Being the impatient girl she is, quickly jump to the point.
"So tell me all about what he said."
"Well hello to you too. I am fine; thank you for asking." I reply dryly. She rolls her eye at this.
"No need for your sarcasm. I am just very excited, you know."
"Ok, ok so I'll tell you all about what Nate said and you tell about Caleb's thought." She nods at this and I begin to say everything Nate said. After we finish telling each other everything we start planning our next step.

Vic's POV:
I am a very impatient person, so just think about what I was going through now. We had already planned out our next move for our mission but had to wait to execute it on Friday which is tomorrow. That's the day of Cal's first game of this year and the perfect opportunity for our plan. Now we are waiting for Cal to join us for lunch so we start our work. Once he reaches the table, I immediately start.
"Hey Cal, what are your plans for tomorrow after the game?" He thinks for a moment before replying. "Nothing interesting. There is an after party which I have to attend as I am the captain but I'll only be there for like an hour or so then I am planning on staying at home. You know how much I hate these high school parties full of drunk, hormonal teenagers. I cannot stand all the attention; I mean they clearly do not understand that I am not interested in any of their advances. What are your plans guys?"
"I have a plan for all of us if you all don't mind. I mean if any of you don't have any other plan that is." Ty said following our plan. I really hopped that no one had any other plans for tomorrow. I watched everyone's expressions and they seemed really shocked. It's true that Nate and Ty had been sitting with us for lunch for weeks now but they always talked only to me. My friends were too scared to talk to them and the boys were not very comfortable with them as well. Once they get over the initial shock, the all agree to celebrate together but no one make any move to ask further information so I take that upon myself.
"Ok, now that everyone is on board, what's the plan Ty?"
"Well, you see, we have a family beach house so we can go there for the weekend and come back on Monday morning directly to school. We can take all the necessary things with us for the days we would stay. So what do you all think? If it is fine by you all then I'll make the arrangements for cleaning the house and for some foods too."
We all smile at him at nod our head in acceptance so he starts making a call to someone.
Tyson's POV:
I take out my phone and make a call to my mom. It rings thrice before she picks up the call.
"Hey mom, what's up?" I greet her a bit overenthusiastically making myself cringe a little internally.
"What do you need this time baby; you don't call me so cheerily unless you want something." She states knowingly and I just bit my lip and smile sheepishly although she cannot see me. "You know me so well ma. You see; the thing is.... Nate and I were thinking about going to the beach house for the weekend with our friends, so would you be kind enough to make the arrangements for cleaning the rooms and some food? We would require all the rooms as there are eight of us in total." I pause and ask everyone if they are ok with sharing the room two people each. They all nod and I continue talking to my mom. Next thing she says made me red with embarrassment.
"What do you mean by friends baby? You never had a single friend other than Nate for all these years and now you are saying you have six other people you call friends? Baby just tell me it is true and you are not just hallucinating about having friends."
"Mom please stop it. I am completely capable of having friends; you just don't have faith in me. How can you say such thing about your own son? If you don't believe me you can talk to them right now." I say to her mocking an angry expression, even she know this and we continue our act as I extend my phone towards Coco and ask her to talk to my mom. She takes the phone hesitantly and speaks to her.
"Hello Ma'am I am Victoria, Tyson and Nate's friend. We were just planning on spending our weekend together with our group if that is ok with you. We promise that we won't create any problem." She smiles at something my mom says and hands me the phone so I can continue talking to her.
"Do you believe me now mom or you need more proof because if so I will be sure to click dozens of pictures just for you."
"Oh no need for dozens of pictures but I would surely like to see a picture of Victoria later today."
"Ok mom but please get the beach house ready, we will be there tomorrow evening and leave on Monday morning."
"Ok honey, just so you know I am really happy for both of you that you are making friends. Love you, bye."
"Thanks mom and love you too." I end the call and smile at my friend letting them know that the plan is on. They all cheer happily but stop as the look behind me for something or say someone. I turn around to see what it is and see three girls staring at me, more like ogling at me. I start feeling a bit uncomfortable under their stare and scoot a little closer towards Coco hoping that she would understand my discomfort and help me which she does and ask the girls on behalf of me. "Umm.. Hey girls, can we help you?"
The girl in the middle who almost looks like a plastic doll due to all the makeup caked on her face glares at Coco and talks harshly. "I am not here to talk to you, miss goody two shoes; I am here to make an offer to Tyson and Nathan here." She says the last few words looking at me, batting her eyelashes, may be trying to look seductive but to me that was nothing but a cringing sight.
